The music you record promotes your live shows, so why not record live? So many bands post audio clips of their live sets online, but they are made with a small portable recorder or a direct line from the house sound engineer, and it sounds awful. They are very poor quality, and you are stuck with the mix created for the venue's speakers, not for playback by your fans at home and on their portable players.
Why would you settle for a poor quality representation of your art, much less put it online or otherwise distribute it?  Some of you wouldn't, but if you have a poor quality recording of your last show on your website, take it down!
This is counter productive. Get with it! Distorted camera audio on a tube clip you post online is not going to convince people to come to your show.

The Solution:
HMS records each microphone's signal discreetly and completely independent of the front of house sound mix, up to 24 channels in total. We arrive when you do, and set up backstage or somewhere out of sight. At show time, you bring the energy and the talent, and we do everything we can to make sure your show goes smoothly and we are able to get a great audio capture. Then we take it back to the studio and mix it on our analog mixing console, achieving results that blow away any small flash recorder or direct feed from the front of house engineer. Every great band must have a live recording and HMS is the way to get that great live recording! Don't compromise and settle for anything less than great audio when you promote your music! That is, after all, the whole point. Contact us today for a quote.
